Maya Heart Foundation, based in London, advocates for child sexual abuse awareness in the United Kingdom and in the Philippines.
We raise voices, educate the public, and work alongside the UK Government to tackle the heinous crime of child sexual abuse in the Philippines, and online trafficking and exploitation by predators based in the UK.

We envision a world where all children are protected from sexual abuse, exploitation, and online threats. A future where survivors receive justice, healing, and hope, where silence is broken and communities are empowered to create safe environments for every child.
MISSION STATEMENT
Maya Heart Foundation is a newly formed organisation in the United Kingdom that will work in close collaboration with the UK government and agencies, local authorities, police forces, and fellow charities to ensure a coordinated response that holds offenders accountable and centres the needs of victims. We advocate for the inclusion of abuse prevention in the national RSHE curriculum and aim to strengthen safeguarding systems in both nations.
We also work in the Philippines is to raise awareness and educate the public on the realities of child sexual abuse, while supporting survivors with trauma-informed, compassionate care.

Through survivor-led leadership, public engagement, and frontline training, we strive to build a society where children are protected, communities are empowered, and survivors are supported every step of the way.
OUR GOALS
Maya Heart Foundation is committed to tackling child sexual abuse and online exploitation across both the United Kingdom and the Philippines.
In alignment with recent commitments from the British Home Secretary Yvette Cooper and MP Jess Phillips, we aim to support and strengthen international safeguarding efforts, particularly where British nationals are involved in the abuse of children overseas.

Collaborate with UK and Philippine authorities to tackle cross-border abuse and trafficking.

Provide trauma-informed care, legal support, and recovery services for survivors.

Prevent abuse through education, awareness, and training in both countries.

Lead international dialogue to protect children everywhere, without borders.

Following our official engagement with Jess Phillips MP on 9 July 2025, Maya Heart Foundation continues to drive this mission forward with urgency, compassion, and a global vision for child safety.

OUR STORY
Founded by survivor and advocate Dr Marieta “Maya” Monta, Maya Heart Foundation is built on the strength of lived experience and the unwavering belief that no child should suffer in silence. Our work is deeply personal and value-driven, shaped by Maya’s own journey through trauma to purpose.

With compassion, justice, and collaboration at our core, we empower survivors with trauma-informed support, protect children through education and safeguarding, and unite families, schools, faith groups, and professionals in the fight against abuse. As a survivor-led organisation, we bring authenticity, empathy, and urgency to every campaign, training, and intervention.

Our mission goes beyond awareness, we push for policy reform, advocate for the rights of victims, and deliver real solutions to end child sexual abuse and exploitation in all its forms, including online.
From local communities to national platforms, we are creating real, lasting change across the UK, one voice, one child, and one survivor at a time.
